At Musicality Academy, all our classes provide training in acting, singing & dancing. Our aim is to develop a passion for performing arts in children aged 4-16 as well as nurturing confidence & self-esteem by simply having FUN!
Our holistic approach to classes is second to none. Our staff and pupils are part of one big family who respects and looks after each other, and this ethos leads to a cheerful and healthy atmosphere to learn in. Every class of ours has a dedicated pastoral assistant, who ensures the individual needs of each pupil are met.
Musical Theatre – Mini Musicality (Ages 4-6)
Mon – Venue No.1 4.30-5.30 pm
Tue – Venue No.1 5.00-6.00 pm
The Mini’s are introduced to Musical Theatre in a fun way and are excited to get to class each week. They enjoy hilarious drama games, exhilarating songs, and expressive dancing.
The classes are designed above all, to encourage and build self-confidence in a safe and controlled environment.
Classes are well-staffed and have pastoral support, ensuring the best possible provision for your little performer!
Musical Theatre – Junior Musicality (Ages 7-10)
Mon – Venue No.1 5.30-6.30 pm
Tue – Venue No.1 6.00-7.00 pm
The Junior classes are designed to create a passion for Musical Theatre and encourage children to express themselves through the medium of acting, singing, and dancing.
Pupils are encouraged to perform, both individually and as part of an ensemble, and will learn many new skills that will help them develop into confident performers.
Above all though, they have tremendous fun!
Musical Theatre – The Academy (Ages 11-16)
Mon – Venue No.1 6.30-8.00 pm
Tue – Venue No.1 7-8.30 pm
Students learn to nurture their performance skills within a safe environment that enables them to experiment confidently with various different dance genres, singing techniques and vocal exercises, and of course acting techniques.
The students also learn the importance of staying fit, stage presence, microphone technique, and theatre terms in readiness for their time on stage. Many of our past students are now working within the performing arts industry.
